Using the humble clothes peg and some creativity, you can make a people from around the world - Catherine from England, Trinh from Vietnam, Nina from Greenland or Bazza from Aus!

Step 1:
Cut an 8cm x 6cm rectangle from a sheet of coloured paper and glue one of the longer edges to a dolly peg, as pictured.
Step 2:
Wrap the paper around the peg and glue the opposite edge down.
Step 3:
Take a pipe cleaner and fix it to the narrow section (neck) of the peg.
Step 4:
Wrap the full length of the pipe cleaner around the peg to form the upper body of the peg person.
Step 5:
Cut and 8cm length of pipe cleaner to make the arms. Thread it through the coil at the back and twist it around a couple of times in the middle to fix it in place.
Step 6:
Glue a pair of googly eyes onto the round end of the peg and draw a mouth just underneath. Bend the arms , curving them towards the front.
Step 7 (optional):
Decorate your peg person's outfit with coloured paper cutouts. You can find the templates for these cutouts in the instruction sheet that in available to download at the bottom of the page..or have a go at doing your own!
Step 8 (optional):
To make a hat loop a pipe cleaner around the head of the peg and join the ends to form a small ring. Trim off the excess pipe cleaner.
Step 9:
Cut a 5cm x 1.5cm rectangle form coloured paper and glue the edges together to form a small cylinder that will fit in the pipe cleaner ring that you made in step 8.
Step 10:
Cut a circle out of paper to fit across the top of the hat. Glue it onto the top of one end of the cylinder.
Step 11:
Glue the pipe cleaner ring around the open end of the paper cylinder to complete the hat.
