Take your child on a sensory development adventure! Sensory creating encourages play based learning by getting children to: promote abstract thinking through creation; encourage sensory development; develop fine motor skills; and promote imaginative play and emotional expression. Children who are ready for a more guided activity to complement their sensory play will enjoy creating this 3D house by following the steps below!
Step 1: Create the base
Line up the 4 square cards and tape together along the edges to make the base of the house.
Step 2: Secure the roof
Create a pyramid for the roof by taping along the edges of the triangles and then taping the bottom edge of the pyramid to the top of the base of the house.
Step 3: Produce a path
To make the path, tape three craft sticks together. Flip over so you cannot see the tape and secure to the base of the house with more tape.
