Painting always seems to be a favourite with kids, but sometimes it's nice to break out of the routine and try alternative painting techniques and materials. Sponge painting is a very versatile art activity that can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

Step 1: Lets Layer
Dip one of the sponge brushes in water and then use it to pick up some green paint from the paint discs. Stamp on the paper to create the body of the caterpillar.
Step 2: Adding Effects
Using a different sponge brush, pick up some yellow paint and layer over the green. Do the same with red for the head.
Step3: Stop!
Parent step: Using a Micador Stay Anywhere Pen, add in the legs, antenna and mouth. Stick the googly eyes on.
