Help your kids develop fine motor skills and their imaginations by construction this wooden cabin with them. You can decorate the cabin with our Marathon Markers for an added vibrant effect.
You will need:
- Popsicle sticks
- PVA glue
- Marathon Markers
Step 1: Construct the entrance!
Begin by laying down popsicle sticks to make a wall. Glue them together and once they’re dry, cut out the door and window. Add popsicle sticks in the opposite direction to embellish the design.
Step 2: Join the walls together!
Create all four walls and glue them together to create a square cabin room. The popsicle sticks should fit into each other filling in the gaps along the side.
Step 3: Don’t forget the roof!
Lay down several popsicle sticks to create a roof as wide as the cabin. Place popsicle sticks in the opposite direction and glue them down to secure the design. Place the two panels together so they come to a point. Use your ruler to make sure both sides of your roof are even.
