Here’s a sting-free jelly fish alternative that the kids can actually play with! Hang it in a dark room and shine a black light torch onto it to reveal a magical glowing sea creature. Your kids will love this simple and fun activity!
You Will Need:
- Paper plate
- White Yarn
- Micador Sizzle Scissors
- Zip lock Sandwich Bag
- Micador jR. Stuff for Painting
- Dark Arts Fluro Washable Paint Discs
- Dark Arts Glow Acrylic Paint Pots
- Black Light Torch
Step 1: Paint Your Plates!
Using the glow in the dark paint, cover the top side of one paper plate, and the bottom side of another with a mix of the fluoro colours. Use your Stuff for Painting tools to create fun patterns!
Step 2: Colour the Yarn!
Cut up your white yarn into long strings! Paint the insides of your Zip lock bags with the different colour and place the yarn in too. Seal bag and move the yarn around so its covered with colour.
Step 3: Glue together!
Once everything is dry, use craft glue to glue the plates together. Make sure the painted sides are facing outwards!
