This painting activity is a great way to recycle some old newspaper that you may have lying around your home.
Get your supplies!
You will need:
A black marker
newspaper
early stART Low-Mess Washable Fluoro Paint Discs (you could also use Easy Wash Fluoro Paint)
Painting Paper
Glue Stick
Scissors
Step 1: Circle & Cut!
Using your black marker trace a circle shape onto your newspaper. Cut along the marker line to create your circle.
Step 2: Paint Your Circle!
Paint your newspaper cut out with your fluoro paints. We painted ours in segments. Make them as bright as possible!
Step 3: Create a Collage!
Turn your painted newspaper cut out into a beautiful piece of art. We turned our circles into hot air balloons and snails by adding detail (stripes for the hot air balloon and a spiral for the snail’s shell). For the hot air balloon, add a basket and some clouds and for the snail, cut out a body and antenna to complete the picture.
