How to decorate a pencil holder using Micador For Artists PermaPainters, Black Book Collection.
Get your supplies!
You will need:
Micador For Artists PermaPainters - Black
Plant Pot
Graphite Pencil
Step 1: Sketch!
Using a graphite pencil, sketch the basic outline of the leaf pattern. Space the leaves around the pot evenly.
Step 2: Trace!
Trace the outline using a black PermaPainter. To add detail trace in smaller branches and leaves.
Step 3: Alternate!
Create an alternating pattern, so each branch faces the opposite direction of the one beside it. Repeat this process until the pot is covered.
Step 4: Complete!
Now your pot is complete please note, depending on the material of your chosen pot, the PermaPainter ink may scratch off and/or deteriorate over time. To test its resistance, add a small amount of ink to the inside of your pt and allow it to dry. Rub the area to see if it will hold.
