What can I mix with yellow?

• Yellow + red = orange; yellow + blue = green; yellow + white = pale yellow/cream; yellow + small amounts of black = olive/mustard.

Why does yellow sometimes look different when dry?

• Acrylic colours shift slightly as they dry – yellow can appear slightly warmer or more orange once fully cured. This is normal for acrylic paint. Testing on scrap paper before applying to final work is good practice. ---
