About this amazing opportunity: 

Lead by a Commercial Manager who values curiosity and initiative, this role is focused on generating accurate accounting records, process improvement and other projects to help deliver efficiency and growth.  Working with the Accounts Support on AR and AP, you will closely manage and control cashflow.  The role is Head Office based with some flexibility to work from home and preferred full time, although part time may be considered. 

You will enjoy learning new technologies and, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager, apply your knowledge of systems and business workflows to automate.

What it takes to be amazing in this role: 

We are looking for a talented and motivated professional who is confident in all aspects of traditional management and financial accounting responsibilities including:

• • Cashflow management incl. trade finance

• • Import and export of inventory, as well as FX transactions

• • GL account reconciliations

• • Monthly profit & loss and balance sheet reportin 

• • Monthly payroll incl. statutory requirements

• • Oversight of AP/AR and customer communication as needed

• • BAS preparation and submission 

• • Commercial projects

• • Creating and improving processes and procedures

• • Creating and maintaining operational process data including workflows and videos

• • Liaise with tax consultants

Why you’re amazing! 

You enjoy a culture of continuous improvement and honest communication and have:

• • Min. 5+ years’ experience as a company accountant or similar

• • An accounting qualification

• • Proven experience in inventory and forex accounting

• • High proficiency in MS Dynamics Business Central (Navision) and MS Excel 

• • Software proficiency, with the ability to leverage technology to automate processes

• • A collaborative mindset, willing to work with stakeholders to drive improvement

• • An uncompromising attitude to accuracy

• • A strong knowledge of account receivable and payable

• • Current working knowledge of tax and accounting legislation; and

• • Are highly organised and able to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines

MS Power Automate and MS Power BI knowledge as well as experience in businesses selling to national retailers and exporting highly advantageous.  CPA/CA accreditation is favourable but not essential.

About this amazing opportunity: 

Lead by an experienced Commercial Manager who values curiosity and a commercial mind, this role is hands-on focused on implementing and optimising supply chain and operational processes to drive efficiencies and deliver growth.  This role is Head Office based in Victoria with some flexibility to work from home.  Embracing seasonality, you will manage the full supply chain from procurement to customer delivery, including supplier relationships and customer service.  You enjoy exploring and applying new technologies including Gen AI and will collaborate with the Commercial Manager on our supply chain digital transformation.

We are looking for a motivated professional excited to take on:

• • Implementing automated workflows and optimising of operational processes

• • Implementing system integration and Business Central improvements

• • Customer service and service improvement execution

• • Vendor sourcing, selection and compliance

• • Vendor, freight and 3PL relationship management  

• • Day-to-day supply chain operations

• • Production and inventory expediting

• • Supporting EDI & CRM integration

• • Creating and maintaining operational process data including workflows and videos

• • Monitoring, owning & reporting on operational metrics

Why you’re amazing!

• • A passion for supply chain coordination & operations process improvement

• • A genuine tech curiosity and high-tech literacy including strong ERP experience

• • Proven success automating workflows, organising tasks and people, simplifying complex processes, and optimizing resource utilisation

• • Min. 5+ years’ experience in a similar role

• • Worked for a product import wholesale business

• • An enjoyment of problems solving and stakeholder relationship

• • An uncompromising attitude to accuracy and focus on detail

• • A strong knowledge of global manufacturing and logistics; and

• • High level of responsibility for own actions and performance

Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (Navision) and MS Power Platform [PBI, Flow etc.] essential.   PowerBI knowledge as well as experience in businesses selling to national retailers and exporting highly advantageous.
