Customer Business Manager - Education Channel
We are seeking an experienced and motivated business manager to understand our Education customers and design solutions to exceed their expectations. Working with a dynamic team, you will use your experience to successfully and profitably grow ranging through the creation and implementation of customer business strategies.
The Customer Business Manager will drive the planning, analysis, influencing and collaboration across Micador’s brands in the Education channel from pre-school to tertiary to ensure optimum profitability & achieve budgeted margin within specified volume, trade investment and category/brand strategy guidelines.
Priorities & responsibilities include:
Responsible for the development, analysis, implementation and management of the customer and promotional plans that best achieve sales and margin budgets by product, customer and category
Lead the National Education Strategy and customer plans through customer and stakeholder collaboration including monthly updates
Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategies to meet future customer requirements, including pricing, ranging, product development, promotions and campaigns
Contribute to the review and negotiation of customer trading terms by providing thorough analysis of all commercial aspects of the customer, including ranging, sales performance, margin, trade investment, profitability, return on investment, supply chain & receivables
Prepare successful proposals based on the above thorough analysis and comprehensive knowledge of Micador and competitor products
Provide recommendations regarding the market and account dynamics, competitive activity, price trends, customer performance, sales opportunities, promotional programs and key category initiatives
Develop and maintain strong trading relationships with key customers and all stakeholders

Our primary location is Melbourne, however, the role may be available for candidates based in other states to work remotely with regular travel to Melbourne.
