You will need:
Yellow craft foam - 1 sheet
Brown craft foam - 1 sheet
Googly eyes
Black craft foam (for feet and paws) - 1 sheet
Large brown pom pom
Small brown pom pom

Step 1:
Prepare your craft materials. For a platypus we will need a yellow BILL, brown TAIL, two GOOGLY EYES, two black FEET and two black PAWS along with one LARGE and SMALL POM POM.

Step 2:
Glue the two FEET on to the bottom of the LARGE POM POM.

Step 3:
Glue the TAIL and the PAWS to the LARGE POM POM to finish the platypus' body.

Step 4:
Draw two little nostrils on the platypus' BILL then glue it onto the SMALL POM POM. Glue the two GOOGLY EYES just above the BILL to finish the critter's head.

Step 5:
Now it's as simple as gluing the head to the body, and you've got yourself one adorable little Australian native.

Step 6:
You can use these same steps to create a bunch of famous Aussie creatures. Here's a Fairy Penguin and a Koala!
