You will need:
Micador Super Modeling Clay (See activity ‘Super Modeling Clay Native Animals – Our Australian Friends’)
Micador Quicksand
Micador Stuff For Painting
Micador Lotus Palette
Micador Acrylic Paint
Cardboard Box
Scissors
Packing Tape

Step 1: Prep your box!
Make your box your own and customise it! Cut away any unwanted bits or add in your own i.e shelves, peep holes etc. Sketch out your scene so your painting areas are clear.

Step 2: Paint your scene!
Using Micador Acrylic Paint and Micador Stuff For Painting, create your Australian Outback scene. We used the base of Ayres Rock for our inspiration! The round stamper is perfect to use to create treetops and the foam brush is good to cover those large spaces.

Step 3: Add some sand!
Spread some Micador Quicksand to the bottom for a 3D effect! Use tape to cover up any holes around your box to ensure the sand stays in. (Quicksand is a good alternative to real sand as it is low mess and reusable.) To avoid sand falling out the front, attach a small guard from your left over cardboard to the front using packing tape.

Step 4: Finishing touches!
Place your animals in the scene and then go outside and gather some nature and native Australian flora like gum tree leaves for Cory the Koala to snack on!
