The red poppy has become a symbol of war remembrance the world over. People in many countries wear the poppy to remember those who died in war or are serving in the armed forces.
Get your supplies!
You will need:
Create It Art Pad
Graphite pencil
Scissors
Craft Glue

Step 1
Grab a piece of the red and black paper from the Micador Create It Art Pad - Two Colour Magic and cut in half. You will be able to create one poppy from each half.

Step 2
Take one half piece of paper and fold in half twice with the red colour on the inside.

Step 3
Draw a shape as per the left image onto one side of your folded paper and cut out that shape.

Step 4
You should now have four identical shapes. Use some of your left over scrap paper to cut out a small circle.

Step 5
Cut a fringe into the bottom of each shape like the image on the left.

Step 6
Fold the fringe up and glue around the very outside of your paper circle.

Step 7
Stick each petal down onto the circle, leaving the middle of the circle visible. You should now have a beautiful poppy!
