An empty spray bottle
Plastic sheets (acetate or sandwich/freezer bags work well)
Step 1: Gather your materials
All you need for this technique is Stylist Brush Makers, watercolour paper, an empty spray bottle and a plastic sheet.
Step 2: Blending colours
Choose a few colours and start colouring swatches next to each other on your plastic sheet. Try out different colour combinations, contrasting and complimentary colours all work well.
Step 3: Spray with water
Spray some water on the plastic sheet palette and then place your watercolour paper over the sheet. When you press down, wait few seconds to allow paper to absorb the water.
Step 4: Dry and display
Peel your watercolour paper back (careful not to smudge your artwork) and allow your work to completely dry. Once dried you can write or draw over the top as you wish.
